You are looking at $3-4,000 a year in revenue from craigslist, so yeah if someone has $30k today in annual revenue it is a mover.
Most experienced cleaners would say it is a waste of time

The quality of customer is not great either, craigslist is a flea market.

I agree with you there Shane but its free so i post its worth it if its free at least it is for me and since i only have to log in and renew my posting it makes it that much more for me i have some advertising coming out next week we will see how it goes....... On a positive note i am on the 2nd page of google for 5 different keywords so i have that going for me and i will continue to add relevant links and post on relevant blogs which is becoming more and more of a task

Solid guerilla marketing $2-3K a year, just hard to move the needle unless you put together 10 of them, but then its work and in same place.

So yes, as an isolated question but i assume most people reading this need more.
Absolute dollars are important so people understand before they commit.

This is some of the best advice I've received on this forum to date! I did this a week or two ago, and just checked my google analytics, traffic to my site is up 98% and it looks as if craigs is on coarse to refer more traffic to my site than google! But the most important thing is that I recieved 2 good jobs from craigs last week, both over $300. Thanks again Doug!

I wont get into the why's and why nots of CL. Ill just say ive stopped cold turkey and never looked back. There has been a few guys on here that have had success w/CL, but they are the extreme minority. What i will say though is some of you that like using CL need to step up your ad game.

Spend some $ and have a designer create an ad that will set you apart from everyone else.

Here's my buddy's in Austin. Phillip on the board did it for him and the first two jobs paid for it. I can't find mine since it's been so long, but it was just as killer.

I am no computer expert, tell me in simpleton terms or write the code I need.

If you're looking to have the image clickable to visit your site, Fresh posted how to....OR.....do you just want your "ad title" to go straight to your website? If so, it can't be done.

I can type in the http://www.........and it appears blue but I just want it to already open so they don't have top click.

Yes but for a couple easy payment of $49.95 i can fix it

It might be able to be done, but I'd hope you'd have a landing page instead of your site.

We have gotten a few good jobs off of Craigslist. But my main reason for posting is "branding". Not the best place to brand I know but nevertheless it is getting us before the public. And hey,it is free.

This has worked for me sometimes... some weeks 4-5 calls, about $500.00 work out of that, other weeks no calls but I currently have 12 ads up on CL and I am working to have more. Free is free!!! I did photobucket and market for higher end CL if there is such a thing. This is my last post.

Update on this... 50 ads up, Calls are still coming in and ontrack for about $3000.00 business generated this month. The link that I posted expired but I have made about 5 different jpegs for all the services I do. My goal is to have 5-6 posts up every 2 hrs. I renew my posts from my phone and don't have to do it from a computer(LOVE TECHNOLOGY). Yes, publisher fliers saved as jpegs makes you look way better to people. My experience has been you will find both cheap and quality clients on cl. It all depends on the ad you make. If you advertise a cheap price and your ad looks like it, that is the customer you will get. If your ad looks high end, making your services to show you as quality, high end, and exclusive to the elite few, that is who you will attract. This customer WILL meet your price.
