Did you ever do this successfully? I was considering the same thing. Same model hotsy and all. Main concern would be if it could keep up on heat.

I got a northern tools heater unit and use a walmart elec. pump.
Seems to work fine but the pump wont last over 300-500 hours.
For the hotsy the heaters all work the same...
The flow switch needs to be as low as possible 1/4 gpm.
Also on that elec pump you will need a bypass valve...
A kero heater will run circles around hx....
More consistent continual heat.

Could you provide a few pics and links to models, please?

I imagine you could just connect the hotsy like we connect our little giants to the TM.

or are you talking the full hotsy with pressure washer built in? if so then no need to connect it to the TM, just use the TM for vacuum and the hotsy for steam

Hotsy 555S is sufficient just modify adapter were wand goes for carpet cleaning add a pressure gauge then carpet cleaning hose.
Close the unload er valve this will increases pressure to full then bring down the pressure with trigger on to setup you need.
these units are pressure regulated not flow regulated. But again match your carpet cleaning wand pressure tips to the unit. I will go with propane unit cost more but less maintenance.
LANDA are better Kacher are the best.
Kacher bought landa and hotsy
