Are you talking about Judge K or Dr. Ford? Everyone is still missing the entire fact that this women was sexually assaulted! Everyone parties in college, this guy is no saint! That’s not the problem, the problem is he is not being truthful! As he is supposed to be the front runner in truth per his high position he is being positioned for! He would be better off just admitting it!!! If he is lying about this which he is! What else would he lie or have lied for!
Is this about protecting women for you?

If so where do you stand on ellison?

If Trump gets another 4 years, and that's a big if, we will probably have to go through all of this again. Ginsburg is 85 and a very liberal judge. She can't last too many more years. What will the crazy liberals pull next time ? They can't let Trump put a third judge on the court and replace a very liberal judge. What will they do? What will they try ? With them anything is possible, anything !!!!

A TMF FB member was asked by a client if he "liked Trump" upon his walk through by a client. He said “yes” and the client fired him on the spot and said leave the home. We monitor and try to avoid political and religious topics here because it is a business site. But since it affected his business I think we could all learn from it. What’s your policy on politics and religion with clients?

*Let’s keep this civil and this will be the last politically based thread on TMF.

PS:I was in a golf tournament 2 weeks ago and a top Lawyer pressed us by asking “what we all thought of Trump. When it was my turn I said “I don’t care much for his personality but I do like the present economy”. Thought this was a good answer but instead he became livid and started shaking and yelled “do not talk anymore the rest of the day”. I approached him and said “this is America and I’ll talk whenever I want unless you want to try and stop me”. He must seen a look in my face because he backed down and started apologizing profusely. I now know what "Trump derangement syndrome" and "triggered" looks like in real life.

I have seen Trump derangement syndrome too. I have friends that I have had for years that post all the time “good people don’t support a bad man “. Basically saying if you don’t HATE Trump then you are kin to a Nazi.
I don’t think Trump is the greatest, but I don’t think he is the horrible monster either.
Where is middle ground?

Today, i just had a prominent cleaner and chemical guy tell me he will no longer do business with me, talk to me, sell me chems, etc. Do you know why? Beccause i quoted jesus saying, at the judgment, some will be thrown in the eternal fire, meaning everlasting, not temporary, etc. He said he doesnt believe in hell. Just saying a verse, a direct quote, ticks some folks off. I conclude many folks dont like to hear the truth of what the lord said because they wish to believe lies, even unwhitingly. Just sayin
Amen Brother

I used to be naive. No longer. I have sat in a courtroom twice at an extended family members custody battle and watch a woman lie straight faced playing the victim. Why? Because she said later that the “end justified the means”. She was not about to lose what she felt she was entitled too. I saw the exact same thing yesterday.

we were in court with some tenanta once. it was awesome too see our judge work lol we left on the winning side and chuckling

Society is very unhealthy right now. Logical debate is hard to find. Many people get very emotional. The biggest problem with this is they lose track of reality. Personally I think Trump supporters have a huge problem with this and I can factually tell you why. They refuse to be critical of things they should be critical of. It's not good for society to have people so on edge that they are willing to have screaming matches with someone they have never met because they look at a situation differently than they do. This tribalism really needs to stop. The impact all of the pollution we create has on the environment should not be a political issue but for some reason it is. Tax policy should look further into the future than 10 years. Yet it never does. Sustainability over long-term should be a concern, but it is not. The excessive greed and tribalism I see on a daily basis are not going to be healthy for Humanity in the long term

It appears that the point of this was not actually to start a political thread but to get your business approach to political questions.

It is best to not to indicate either way, even a technicians view should be forbiden discussion when on the job. Prepare your techs for this in orientation "Our company policy is to stear clear of such discussions that effect the deep emotions of our clients thus keeping it on a business level" if the subject is pushed inform them that you cannot discuss this on company time as your job depends on it.

this is the wrong question. the real question is why are the candidates for leadership so lacking? is someone with a large ego and often says unfactual statements the best we can do for president? is a supreme court pick with all kinds of skeletons in his closet really the only choice? why did the democrats choose the one person the republicans had been marketing against for a decade in 2016 to run? does any of this seem odd to anyone else?

if you want to make a difference run for mayor, help around town. contribute. the reason we have such poor politicians is #1 they are slaves to the donors who benefit from their sockpuppetry and #2 most people prefer to complain on facebook rather than try and make a positive change.

last but not least many and i mean MANY people are EMOTIONAL decision makers not logical ones. couple this in with tribalism and you have people simply parroting with their friends and family believe. they grew up believing "this is how it is" and have never questioned it.

tie this into jobs and it should be obvious who you can and can not speak to about politics. someone who asks who you voted for right out of the gate is probably looking for an argument. their body language also helps to confirm it. are they relaxed or appearing to be confrontational? there is always risk involved with any kind of on the job discussion but i've been at this for over 10 years and have never had an argument arise. irrational customers who have too high expectations for their budget are a much larger problem and even those can be easily dealt with.
