I clean 39 or 30 seats per hour without blinking and I come on
No and I'm not hauling butt I'm just working
maybe after you get some experience under your belt you'll know how to clean fast and have an amazing appearance when done
All you have to do is get everything set up right and go to work!!!!

Every once in awhile newbie will show up on the board and say it's not possible to go that fast lol.
when Old-Timers and prose do it on the daily no complaints still got all the good work.

Ray to hear you throw a fit over this one my son and I clean 248 dining room chairs in an 3hours and 48 minutes and yes we were hauling butt. They were filthy nasty disgusting never been touched in 30 years
At a country club
I have an invoice start time and finish time to prove it!!!
For me its not nor will it ever be about quantity, its always about Quality, my clients pay for Quality

Again I will say it again

Did you actually
pre vacuum, apply pre spray, scrub, and thoroughly rinse ???!!

and including set up?

How often do you re-clean the chairs per year?

Im a journey man at this and I just dont see how in the world can you deliver quality results without any wicking, stains, browning and be quick.

no no and yes yes....

Just looked back at the invoice.....
192 seats with cloth on arms.....4$ a seat = 900$

but I had to negotiate to get that.......
seats had never been cleaned - probably 15 years?????

Used a high powered TM with a 47 blower - 480 cfm
kero heater...continual heat - continual water flow...
APO - never had to dump
prespot entire row with hydraforce - RSF mix(small amt. GM)

rinsed with Robs nuetral rinse or Flex Ice is better

put 2 fans

at that time used a prochem stair tool and inlet upholstery tool...tied off the trigger and went to work.....
did the edges with the upholstery tool
brush in back pocket for light scrubbing.....
( now I use hydramaster dri tool high flow - no trigger)

took me 12-6 first night and 2 hours the next night to finish the bottom part....total 7-8 hours including setup

next time I will do it in 6 as that was my first cleaning of theater seats........

set 2 high flow floor fans on the ends to dry......

took another 15 hours to do the 17 theater movie theater....

but I just recently cleaned this theater and knocked it down to 10 hours.....

At $3.00 a seat!?!?

You actually pre vacuum, apply pre spray, scrub, and thoroughly rinse ???!!

Sorry but something is wrong with the cleaning or the cost or both.
Im guessing youre just running some detergent through solution line doing here and there spotting.

Im at $4.08 per gallon theres no way I would ever charge $3 bucks a seat, thats not money thats not smart. thats working harder and faster, but not very business bright
Those specific seats wo the arms I could clean at 1 per minute just for the extraction....
should get around 50 an hour and finish the theater in about 5 hours including setup......

There's one thing for sure theater seats are a lot of work.

but whoever said being carpet cleaner was supposed to be easy?

And it's important to remember he's making money yes it's harder than some of the money he will make
but there's no telling where the hard job may lead to an easy job that pays even more!

There's no telling where a job will lead you.

The fact is it's a wise business decision on his part to care for a place that has hundreds of people coming through it on a daily basis.

Those rich and poor people come through there all it takes is the right person saying man these chairs looks so much better.
