Ok guys I may have gotten a little over my head. I got a "good deal" on 4 year old car. The asterisk being it belonged to a smoker. Now I got the smoke smell out with a good deep clean and bathing the mats and ozone. Problem now is they ( either the dealers detailers or the previous owner) tried to mask it with what I think was a solvent based(cause water won't last like this) cherry scent. Guys I am on a personal mission to rid the cherry smell but nothing is working. Newcide? Nope. Citrus slam? Nope but it now smells a little like cherry lemon sundrop. Hell I even tried some home remedies like concentrated lysol. That seemed to work for a day but the cherry cam back. Anything else I can do besides replacing the carpet?
