Really just depends on how much you want to spend and what you like. I've seen prices range from 300 -1,400. I was consider picking up this wand I saw thats made by Samco, its a 12" 4 jet for around 300. Its clean looking and low profile. Apparently, it's even rated at 1,200 psi (don't know why you would ever need to use a wand with that much pressure). I haven't tried it but am considering getting it when I get my startup going, at the very least it will make a good backup down the line.
As far as a glide goes, I have never used one. A little pre-spray and glides good enough for me.

I think it depends about what truckmount you use.
If you would use a small truckmount or a portable I would say the westpak 0530 is the best wand with glide, for commercial and residential,
For a bigger truckmount now is different, and with my truckmount I am using the prochem quad and is good, little heavy but good.
