Thought about that but the place was small and FULL of furniture. There was another large piece of furniture against one of the walls I would have to stretch off that weighed a ton. Massive marble top on it.

I check the weather up there every day (Hopewell Junction). Next week the lows will be in the teens and tens. I am NOT looking forward to that. I'm acclimated now to Sarasota weather. It was sunny, beautiful and 82* here today.

I just got in my kneeless kicker today,, I gotta say im impressed looking at it,, lightweight and I tried it on the wall in the hallway its moves that carpet easy peasy with no kicking... I say it weighes double what a regular knee kicker does.

I have to say, Jeff....of all the many, many services that I provided throughout my carpet career, carpet re-stretching and repair was my favorite. I might just check one of them there new fangled kneeless kickers out and get back into it. Seriously.

So you're your own worst enemy too, eh? Welcome to the club. :D I did the same thing this past summer when it was BRUTAL down here and gorgeous in The Mid- Hudson Valley. I started questioning myself about how bad shoveling snow really was. Then I came to my senses. LOL. But I do miss the change of seasons. Not sure if we will actually stay here very long. It has its ups and downs....like anywhere.

I have a friend in Pompano. Other friends in West Palm, Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Naples and some in the panhandle....Crestview, Destin and Panama City.

I lived in West Palm for many years - too busy now. I'm a big fan of Vero Beach and Melbourne/Sebastion - they remind me of old FL from when I was down there. Just went to Hilton head for the first time - nice place. Wish I would have opened a cleaning outfit there many years ago the way it's booming!

Yeah I thought a lot about moving to Vero too. Seems nice and quiet. Sarasota in nice, but damn....too much building and snow bird crowded. Traffic is NUTS. Wish I stuck with my gut and planted roots in Venice instead. Well......I still can. It's just that packing and moving is starting to get old and tiresome now.

    Oh....And Sebastian is AWESOME!
