Here are what I have found. Have you ever injured yourself? If so, how? Show pic and say what caused it. I'll start...

This is what happens if you get your hand around truck mount belts. Always be careful working around a truck mount that is running. If servicing, turn engine off to prevent this

Best to lubricate gears when CRB is not plugged in.

That looks painful lol. I bet manual states with large warning symbol. To turn off and unplug machine before servicing.

While cleaning most problems i run into is slipping on tile. But ill admit. I have come close to getting fingers caught changing belts on sanitare vacuum. Switch is push button and the damn bag pushes it in while pulling belt over impeller.

Lost pressure on the DIESEL heated truckmount in the middle of cleaning a house. Went outside to see what was going on, opened the bleeder hose at the front of the machine, nothing. Step up into the side door to take a while the machine is running, nothing. Step back down and all of a sudden pressure is restored. Bleeder hose still open and directly pointed at my foot ( not intentionally). Not only does hot water melt away grease on carpets but it also melts away skin!!

Here are two guys who used caustic soda (lye) sodium hydroxide.

First guy put some prespray that contains lye (caustic soda sodium hydroxide) in an energy drink bottle to use for spotting and accidentally drank it not thinking. Almost killed him and burned his esophagus out. Second guy got it in his eye and blinded the eye. Burns the cornea immediately.

Moral story, avoid presprays (there are a few smaller garage companies pushing this toxic mess) with sodium hypochlorite or caustic soda sodium hydroxide lye. They can kill you even by breathing it, but esp if you drink it.

Here are 2 guys who worked on urine carpets with no gloves. They both had cuts on their hands and went septic. Each almost died.

Most of my cleaning injuries happened before cameras were invented, so no photos. But most were different types of burns. You could look at my arms and legs and know what brand of quick connect I used. Also some chemical burns from being less prepared when a spill occurred.

Good god its smiling. Yeah that is bad. And that right there is my only fear. I always foresee this happening as i cut under nose of step because your arm is always in perfect line for this to happen. A dull blade is a dangerous blade i always say.
