What do you mean? Like, someone to come out, evaluate your business, your methods, and tell you how you are doing and what you could do better? I'm sure there is someone out there who would gladly charge you $150 an hour for 5 days to do just that.

I have done some consulting work. Mostly on the technical side, practice, chemistry and such. There are a number who do consulting work full-time. They each specialize in a certain segment of the business or work with certain size businesses.

Gregg Sargent- Helps grow carpet cleaning and restoration businesses from start-up to about 1 million annual. he has been marketer for Chem Dry and several other large companies that got them off the ground. BTW - Gregg will be visiting many of our Interlink Supply locations this year. I think Denver and San Diego have already been scheduled. Expect to have 40 more stops planned by the end of this month. If you have any interest in consulting or just want some tips on growing your business through marketing, better business practices, call conversions, billing procedures or whatever, be sure to stop by when Gregg is around.

Chuck Violand - and a team who work with him do training on best practices, how to manage your business etc.

Steve Toburen - Teaches Strategies for Success class that covers marketing, best practices, accounting, customer service. There are several versions of the class either the full week or a few days concentrating on one area.

Larry from Indiana, cant recall the last name right now - Small businesses with 2 to 10 employees tends to be who he works with. How to manage employees, customer service, etc.

Several guys who focus on different technical areas.

Larry Cooper is excellent at sales to large commercial accounts, grade A office buildings and such. He works with larger businesses.

call and talkAND GO DOWN to your local carpet cleaning supplier...
talk to local carpet cleaners......
research the carpet cleaning boards.....
get certified

work out a business plan
what do you want to target??? .....and focus on percentages
how much $$ do you want to make per YEAR, per MONTH, per WEEK
example
1. commercial - resturants ,25%
2. apts, motels - 25%
2. homes - 25%
tile 1/4
upohlestery 1/4
carpet 1/2
3. rentals - 25%

WATER DAMAGE?????? BIG LEARNING CURVE!!!!!

set a goal of how much you need to make per month, per year
then research equipment to mach your work PLAN
