I like the look of the wm, 60k on a PTO...I would take that chance.

Btw what was the issue that rob and tre had with their wm years ago?
It was the untested Triton LS slide in. What I have always maintained is there old units and their PTO's we're very well built and simple units. Once they went with engineers incorporating electronics that not even distributors could fix led to their demise.

Was it johns custom machine that ended up making the part to fix it?

Yes. They had pods that electronically opened and closed the heat exchangers. Problem is they were designed too close to hot machine parts and melted every 3 months or so. And since they designed them at the back of the unit the machine had to be fork lifted out of the van to get to them at the tune of 700.00 a pop. John designed for us manual ones that would not burn up and we are still using them to this day. That is true engineering. This industry will miss John. He solved many a engineer induced nightmares.

But on the bright side, there would have never been a Truckmountforums if it wasn't for their ineptness and unwillingness to help. Plus it obviously whirled back upon their own company as they are now defunct.

I started a thread like this long time ago if i remember right. I found an El Diablo on ebay and posted it here. I think somebody from here bought it too. Some guys bought it to use to clean the carpets (literally ... not even in a van just in the corner of the building) at their indoor paint ball range.

The guy in Chicago is kind of crazy on his Cimex at least. Wants $2500 for a used one. I have been watching and have found them for less. I didn't offer him anything so I am not sure he wouldnt take less, but you can get a brand new one for $2700 from excellent supply.

Ya john was great, he built me a custom heat exchanger that heats up the water better than any other heat exchangers i have ever seen, The last time I saw him was at connections in clearwater back in 2011, he looked great, you just never know.

The guy was one of a kind! He took some of my craigslist "finds" and made them functional. Miss him tons, I am honestly afraid to buy certain "bargains" I see now, because those custom made parts aren't just a call away anymore :(

Yes those white magic pro are great, good suction too. way to simple machine, anybody can fix it. can replace the be;ts in less than 3 minutes with no tools. It is set to 1500 rpm, but you can increase the rpm's to 1700 with no problems. The white magic pro 1200 would be the only tm from white magic i would buy, because parts are simple to get, never problem with overheating or divcerter or dema valve.
