I did some small area's of cat vomit the other day. I used OSR on berber. it came out great but left the area "brighter" than the rest. how do you combat this when doing just spots? This got me thinking. What do you guys do if you are brightening a room that has furniture in it. Won't it look silly if you only brighten the cleanable area's. Does it even matter at that point. We will be going back to do the whole room to brighten it up and was just wondering if I should remove all the furniture. This carpet will get brighter so I do not want it to look bad.

If doing spots only, when the carpet gets back to the pre-damage condition and matches, the rest of the carpet, extract your oxidizer.

    Don't overuse oxidizers.

Sometimes there is some powder residue left behind that can give it the lighter or brighter appearance. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.
