What's really frustrating is that the way this thing is designed I can't remove the unloader without pulling the whole pump. Heck, I can't even put a hose after the unloader to do a bucket test there without tearing it all apart.
Got the new unloader apart and sure enough, it had a spring and valve thing in the back that the old unloader did not have. Sooooo, hopefully pulling that out makes all the difference. I'll try to find time to put it back together for testing.
That’s so odd haha so there’s no way to turn it off if your engine is running? I’d like to see how that’s set up. Man this is a tough one. When you remove the valve have you tried running it to see if you have pump pressure? It should shoot a good stream where the valve is normally connected. Any luck with removing the ball and spring?
