Moved my 805 over to pull blower exhaust heat exchangers put it back ran it sounded good a lot more vacuum, started in the morning making a weird screeching sound pulled cover saw this anybody seen this before thanks Ken
If you remounted the blower wrong it may have twisted the blower housing. This can lock up the lobes and potentially cause the gears to go out of time. Although I have never seen gears jump, I have seen couplers and belts break. Usually if the blower is twisted the lobes will rub the housing then start knocking until it ultimately locks up.
Well we used a fork lift to push I to enough to pull those heat exchangers then we pushed it back that night it ran good the next morning it started making noise.I ended up buying a new coil for my powermatic been using that till I get finished with my deer and elk hunt so then I will deal with it. The suction was never that good on it.
