Best Wand for a Portable Extractor?

I have a US Products Evolution 2-jet wand (1 1/2 inch), which I use with my portable (Nautilus). Even with doing extra dry strokes, we seem to have longer than desired dry times, and have had a few understandable customer complaints, which is completely unacceptable. We bear down on it to get the best vacuum seal around the lip of the wand, so the dry strokes aren't just gliding across the carpet. The extractor is set up in series (versus parallel), so I assume it is getting maximum vacuum from the machine. Even so, with several dry strokes, the dry times are unacceptable. So... we now use fans as well.

Main question in this monologue is: Thinking that the wand may be part of the issue, what do you recommend as the best wand for a portable? Has anyone else had this issued? If so, was the Evolution part of the problem? Which wand would be better, to give noticeably better results, i.e., better water extraction?

What's your hose length? Have you tried it in parallel? Any obstructions, clogged filter or vac leaks? Tipping the wand on edge at end of dry stroke will allow air to rush in and move water further up the wand tube to your hoses. Other wise the water will just hover in a sealed vacuum. In parallel you get more cfm that helps move lifted water along. As far as wand idk. What jets are in it?

Saw your other thread. Answer is yes. Ditch the 1 1/2" hose. Well not ditch totally it comes in handy on upholstery as its easier to maneuver. But you get much more airflow through the 2" hose. Try 2" with unit in parallel next time.
What model nautilus do you have?

25 Ft. 500H. Jets? IDK, just the original. Also, what's the diff between lift and air flow in terms of extracting water?

are you holding the wand flat so its sucking the carpet,,, one reason or another you leaving the carpet to wet how much water and chems are you pumping in to these carpets

200-300 PSI and average prespray amounts. Yes to how we use the wand. Been carpet cleaning for 4 years so how use the wand isn't an issue.
