I've been all VLM for 2 years now and have tried almost all the encaps except Encapstore.

It's just my opinion but I think the best Residential encap is - TMF SuperCap with Unchained

It has never let me down
RTU ph 7
It has a strong Peroxide
It has a clean fresh smell/scent
Removes pet stains and coffee stains
It leaves the carper fibers nice and soft
It's a liquid so it's easier to work with
It makes colors really pop
Never tried SuperCap on Commercial carpet
Never tried SuperCap on furniture.
Never tried SuperCap on any heavily soiled carpet
Never used it on wool

Other encaps that I use and like:

TMF Green Label excellent dissolves easily but it's a powder. I prefer liquid
Bonnet Pro Rocket excellent but SuperCap has the edge in my opinion
Bonnet Pro Radical excellent dissolves easily but it's a powder. I prefer a liquid
Bonnet Pro NanoMAXX for wool and is best no scent/smell/odor encap. 0 health rating Green Plant Based
Vacaway Grease Hawg high ph of 12 at 4 oz. I use it on rentals and heavily soiled carpet at 2- 4 oz per gallon. I usually add some Detonator (Peroxide)
Excellent Supply Releasit DS2 excellent for Commercial carpet. I don't use it on Residential

I lost some customers but not many. I used HWE for 25 years before I made the switch.

I'm getting amazing results with VLM. I'm getting better results than I ever could have imagined 2 years ago.

I had to learn VLM. I didn't get amazing results in the beginning. I believe I lost some customers in the beginning because the results were just ok but I just keep at it and keep getting better and better. Learning on every job. Now after 2 years the results are amazing.

I LOVE VLM !!! I will never go back to HWE !!!

It's 2021 and VLM works. Believe me !!!

I will occasionally offer VLM with my CRB. Customers are always happy with the result, but I am considering adding a post bonneting because I know how CRB cleaning is just kind of blending the dirt.

I am not sure though because I don't think my customers will care or notice either way. Seems like a waste of an extra hour on each job, especially larger homes.

I'm using a new system for tougher jobs. I used this last week on two houses. Very happy with the results.

1- Vacuum if needed

2- Bonnet Pro Blast at 1 oz per gallon (12 ph ) lightly sprayed on bad areas usually traffic lanes and then scrub with CRB.

3- Bonnet Pro Rocket or Omega Citrus at 6-8 oz per gallon depending on carpet sprayed on entire carpet then scrub with CRB

4- Extract using Trinity Odyssey OP and cotton bonnet

5- Groom

I have a tough job tomorrow. I haven't been to this house for 15 years. White nylon. She said they are bad but she wants me to clean them and do best I can. She doesn't expect any miracles.
If they are absolutely trashed I will pass on the job. Tell her they need to be steam cleaned.

I did that job on Tuesday. The carpets were not trashed but did have soil filtration and some pet stains from dogs but no odor. They have two big dogs and it was 15 years since the last time I cleaned them with HWE.

I used SuperCap and the results were amazing considering what I started with but the carpets do need to be replaced. White 20+ year old nylon. I used VacAway Spot and Boost on the filtration lines.

Here is my equipment for removing soil filtration with VLM.

After I spray the filtration lines with Spot and Boost I Scrub with a brush. Then go over with microfiber towel. That blue and white grout brush from Walmart works great. Sometimes I use that polisher. Gets right up to the Baseboard. Small orbiter can be used also but it's slow and doesn't have the power of a polisher.

Then when I do the whole room I hit it again with Trinity Odyssey OP and a 21'' Glad Pad Cotton bonnet. Cotton bonnets are thin and get right up to the baseboard.

That brush on the pole is a Edge Brush from Excellent Supply. I use it for rooms with no furniture or open areas. Tight areas I use the Edge Brush without the pole.

Just get a 13'' 175 and some Ironman Bonnets from Bonnet Pro and you are set for VLM.

Get some SuperCap with Unchained and you will need spotters for VLM. VacAway has the best VLM spotters. Never tried Bonnet Pro spotters.

That's how I started slowly into VLM about 10 years ago. I started doing unoccupied rentals with VLM. No customers around so I could experiment and learn.

I have a 13'' Hawk 175-300 and love it. I prefer my Odyssey but I always have the 175-300 on my van as a back up.

What vacuum are you guys using ???

I recently bought a Shark Vertex and LOVE IT !!! $350.00 - Amazon

I already have 8 vacuums but I saw the info commercial and bought it. Glad I did.

I use it to vacuum Residential when needed. If I need to post vacuum I use Dysons. They can handle some moisture. Don't want to ruin this Shark.

For commercial I use a 20'' Lindhaus or 15'' Pro Team

I buy the Dysons refurbished off ebay.

I carry 4 vacuums on my van.
2 - Dysons
1 - Shark Vertex
1 - 20'' Lindhaus

I love VLM !!!
