The amount used can change it from a fragrant cleaning booster to a fragrance. 1 to 2 oz. per ready to use gallon is the sweet spot for being a fragrant cleaning booster. If you add less you are in the great fragrance territory, if you add more you are approaching the zone of re-soil and delamination issues.

At 95%-98% terpenes, yes, this stuff really is Brylcreem. A little dab'll do ya. LITTLE. Like, threaten the hopper with the bottle and then put it away.

Over use, just like anything else in our industry, will lead to problems.

I’m testing the new version now.

On a unrelated question, would there be any issue mixing a deodorizer like summer air with carpet protector?

DO NOT MIX DEODORIZERS IN FLUOROCHEMICAL PROTECTORS!!! We do not do it for a reason. We did add to Maxim SOS, but it does not have any fluorochemical.

We use raw limonene, 95% food grade d-Limonene. Chem companies also sell it as a household cleaner.

Yes, it's powerful. We recommend 2 to 4 oz per 5 quart sprayer. As a spotter, it destroys gum, wax and anything oil-based.

Duly noted, won't be doing that. Was considering it since I'm already applying a bit of deodorizer to most of my jobs.

When needed, yes. I'm using citrus solv on about 40% of my jobs.

Could you elaborate on what that reason is? Does the deo cancel out the protection somehow or create a resoiling condition? Are you only talking about deo that are just a scent or all types of deodorizers?

I think the original citrisolv was better the real reasons they changed up was EPA and budget strategy it really has been watered down. They also say it dissolves better and rinses better but idk as far as the smell it’s about the same but it should be a lot cheaper than before because the quality of citrus-solv 1 and 2 have been heavily compromised. Aside from that I love everything else from bridgepoint however their solvent/boosters are now dead to me.

Adding a fragrance to the protector negates one of the primary features of limiting re-soiling. Also some protectors are anionic and some are cationic. This can be an issue as most fragrances use an anionic to suspend a fragrance into the solution. It could be incompatible neutralizing some of the aspects of the protector.

There has been NO CHANGE change to the original Citrus Solv as it the same formula. We did not want those who have bought it for 25 years to be disappointed. It's price had to be increased based on the current price of d'limonene. The Citrus Solv II is a new formula to adjust to the higher cost of d'limonene which based on all the variables with oranges in Florida is likely to stay at the high price for the next few years
