ResponsiBid? Heard some good things, but just recently learned about it.

Checked them out... What are they offering differently then HouseCall Pro? Because Housecall Pro does have them beat on the pricing front...

I have a lot on my mind. There is going to be some big changes in my life in the next week as I am moving my 21 year old daughter and 18 year old son in with us to get their lives on track. I found out that their situation living with their mom was worse than I thought and they need my help.

Congrats on your 2 new employees Jason!

It isn't the ideal situation right now but I will do all I need to do for them. My son wants to work with me, my daughter I'm not sure about.

Your daughter can answer your phone after hours ;)

I have actually talked to my wife about taking over the phone before but I worry she will schedule 10 jobs a day for me and she thinks my prices are high so some might be $20 jobs.

Actually I'm really considering doing a big expansion for the business this Spring, I already have an employee and my old van is ready to do jobs. If my wife is willing to take over the 2 janitorial accounts I have I will push it more to keep her and my daughter busy plus I have been turning down at least 1 move out cleaning a week since I haven't wanted to get into it.

Those are great problems to have and if you can make it work with your family even better.

I dont know how competitive your market is but what's the crime in someone just answering the phone and you scheduling later? You said most are price shoppers anyway.

What you guys are missing about Responsibid is that it is not a CRM. you still need a job manager. It's a bidding tool and it's actually quite brilliant in that regard. it presents your bid in 3 columns, low, middle, high price with additional perks or offers. Psychologically that's great for sales. The consumer can agree and sign the contract and then it sends you to the calendar to book. It integrates with service monster, housecall pro, markate and others and sends the job there.

After submitting the form and getting a quote, the consumer gets a text if they didn't schedule. You can set it up to text them for a couple of days to try and get them to accept the quote. That's called automated marketing. But it's limited in that regard. If you want a text widget on your website which I recommend everyone get, you still need to pay Chiirp or whatever tool that will integrate with it. Chiirp is another $200/mo for the level you need. So just to get started with those you need $500 setup up for Responsibid, $200/mo for that, $200/mo for Chiirp. The ROI could be great, so I'm not knocking it, but we're building our own system by tying 3 pieces of software together at a fraction of that cost because I want more on the automated marketing side and Responsibid is weak there.
