Doubt it. Question is do you have enough horsepower, heat and vacuum to drive one properly?

there was mixed reviews when the zipper spinner came out.....

If I remember correctly:
advantages: over a regualar zipper
maybe wider cleaning?
or might use it on tile????

disadvantages:
- wont get in corners
- spinner would stick on high pile carpet
- heavier

i prefer the bonzer.....as it works great in corners, edges and UNDER DOOR STOPS

also works great on tile

Well your not getting much help

Please don’t compare the bonzer to the zipper ss

The spinner is amazing commercial tool

I run with my Everest and I love it the production time is amazing the cleaning ability is amazing

The bonzer is not in the same league in any way it falls short

It’s a Ferrari vs well a Camry I guess the Camry will get the job done also though

Build quality is no contest zipper is strong and built like a tank

Bonzer feels fine nothing special

Cleaning ability both do well but in commercial I would never choose the bonzer and it’s smaller cleaning path over the zipper

The bonzer doesn’t work great on edges and corners and under door stops it simply doesn’t with does the zipper

The only real advantage is the price the bonzer is less
Less of a tool

The bonzer like I’ve said is better if you plan on doing residential

It’s better than a wand

It flushed well and I like it for pet urine

i havent heard anything from the zipper ss in years.....
didnt know it was still available

but I did hear when it first came out that not very many people bought it or liked it over the regular 14" zipper.....

i have both zipper and bonzer......

I will agree the zipper is not made for pile carpet.....

According to Charlie carpet here on TMF that he went to a trade show to get help to make a spinner type tool. He shared his idea with Eric and Eric made one. Shame Charlie never got any credit. Seems a good concept. Charlie seems be a good guy. Sometimes good guys finish last.

13 or 15" Zipper for residential . We switch between the 13" Zipper and a 14" PMF wand . Tight quarters a regular wand wins.
Some use the SS Zipper in open areas of residential but I agree its mainly a commercial tool like a Cimex.
Durabilty and lifespan the Zipper wins bigtime over the Bonzer.
WE Clean BOTH ways with our Zipper just like the Bonzer.13"
The pimped out Jaguar 8.4 with the 3HT propane heater has plenty of power up to 150' for the 13".

The first spinner carpet tool was the CX-15. It has had a few improvements over the years. A good tool for commercial work and works OK on residential although tight spaces can be an issue. Lighter weight than the Zipper.

Yeah I tried the CX15 a few times and found it not that good, the rotovac 360i seemed better on commercial.

Yeah I checked out the cx at interlink and wasn’t impressed, not too worried about cleaning residential with it we normally use a RX-20 for the larger residential jobs. Just trying to speed up my larger commercial jobs, even if I need to trim with a wand then come back with the zipper I feel like it would be less time and energy spent
