Dave was always kind, helpful and quick with a humorous comment on anything aside from developing some great tools. He will be missed.

I saw his old Florida address on something last week. He quickly straightened me out and let me know he was getting ready to head to Hawaii. I will get a card your way soon, Johnny. Give him my best.

I saw Dave last night. Still crazy as ever. He wanted me to thank each and everyone of you that posted here for him. He's unable to log onto TMF so I used my computer. He got a little misty eyed.

I want to thank you all too for taking the time to say farewell to Aloha Dave. If you want to add more please feel free and I will send them to Dave.

There is no reason he cannot log on unless he forget his password. (See screenshot) He can click "reset password" if forgotten.

I talked with Aloha Dave/ Dave Moonan yesterday. It was brief because I'm in the busy season and I've just lost another really good friend last week. Any ways I asked how he was holding up and he told me "Been hellish past couple weeks. The chemo damn near killed me before the cancer."

He's having a hard go with the chemo treatment and they put it on hold for the next 10 days.

I feel really bad for Dave. But there isn't anything I can do. A pretty helpless feeling.

When I told him about my buddy that just died at 52 years old suddenly, he replied "DAMN... of what may I ask? I should be more grateful I made it this far. So many things I wish I did tho when perfectly capable."

Here's a guy on death's doorstep worried about my good friend, a guy he doesn't even know. Also, here's a guy that tells us he wishes he'd done more in life when he was still capable of doing it.

Just some food for thought everyone. As Dave would say, Aloha!

I think most people feel that way at death's door.

Scary to face the idea of oblivion and not knowing if theres anything on the other side, much less anything good or bad by human comprehension.

It's like the most intense stages of grief.

Many of us do know and can face death with absolute certainty.

Death is an enemy.
