My Garage/shop is down a steep long driveway, one that I have to shovel every big snow to have any chance of getting out....so I'm pretty excited about these.

That article is 2 years old and there have been AWD cargo vans for decades...

No!! I've had those crap chevy vans....they are a nightmare for a floor guy. They sit way too high and have too little cargo room with walk in height that a midget would curse at. Ive got a Ram Promaster now and the difference is incredible. No way I would go back to that old style cargo van.

True but only the Savanna I believe. Only the new style cargo vans do I consider practical and worth investing in.

If you think the chevy's have a floor height that is too high look up floor height on the sprinter 4x4. It's got 8" on the Chevy as I recall

In the Outer Banks of NC there are very wealthy areas and homes along the ocean.. The only access is 4wd A couple cleaners service them with 4wd vans and bank.

I was only playing around. I know what you mean though. As we get older it gets more and more tiresome hunched over inside a van looking for stuff. Good luck with your new Sprinter.

Will see what the future holds, only have 2 years so far on my Promaster so not in a position to make any moves now. But hopefully there will be plenty of options in the near future. I'll definitely go AWD in the future if I can.
