Notice near hose cuff the vac hose is crushed impeding air flow - this end connects to the bottom of the recovery tank.

For all you Air Hog users it would be a good idea to open your hog and check and see the hose coming from the bottom of the waste tank barb and hooking into the vac manifold is not terribly crimped/crushed from the design of the Air Hog. I noticed the exhaust of the Air Hog seemed a little bit wimpy so I opened it up - cut about 2" off the hose and removed the cuff (seals fine without the cuff) and it no longer crushes the vac hose when the hog is closed back up (it normally crushes the hose against the exhaust of one of the vac motors.

Better performance and you can really feel a big difference in the exhaust - which is a great indication of air flow.
