I have one of these that I have yet to install into one of my
portables or power booster. I have it setup so I can run it
and get some idea of its power. The 8.4 2 stage is a fantastic
vacuum motor with more power than anything I have ever
used before. The 6.6 2 stage vacuum motors are similar in air
flow but not as much lift. The best I can get out of a 6.6 2 stage is
122"h2o . Gotten a little more a time or two but this is about
what I expect . The 8.4 2 stage vac motors will usually attain about
135"h2o lift which combined with 142 cfms is very impressive.

These motors will be difficult to fit in most portables. They simply take up more space. Get things to crowded and you could have over-heating issues after time. But they are great vacuum motors. Available in the new Nautil Extreme line.

We have a few 84's in stock at Cobb Supply now. These motors are large. It takes a little engineering to get them to fit in a machine designed for 5.7's. However, they do have the same bolt pattern as the 7.2's. We have manifolds made especially for these big boys. That makes them a little easier to retrofit, but there are some machines that just aren't good hosts for the 84's.
It looks like some manufacturers are now incorporating the 84's into some new machines, finally. For example, that new Nautilus looks pretty awesome. Also, the Cobb/Breeze 84 is a killer custom. We have several out in the field with no problems.

LARRY.
Can I use one motor to boost my m5 on hose runs over fifty feet?

Sent from my Droid
Easily I would think . You are adding a vac motor that is rated at
around 145" water lift and 142 cfms. Almost 700 air watts. I would
think it could extend your hose runs up to more like 75 additional feet.
With my Jaguar 6.6 which has almost as many cfms but less lift I have
added an inline CA Power Booster 6.6 at 150 feet and could have easily
added another 100 feet of 2 inch vacuum hose. I only have 215 feet of which
200 is 2 inch diameter and the other 15 is 1 1/2 inch diameter. At that distance
with the inline Power Booster 6.6 the vacuum is incredible. Since the 8.4 2 stage
vacuum motors have about 15 additional inches of water lift you should expect
a lot more power. These are great motors !

I think @locko-fabara can get these motors for you.
Inside an M5? Not without a lot of modding I think. If you have an older extractor, like an older Ninja, that has 7.2 motors originally it would be pretty easy I bet. For an M5, I'd suggest the Cobb LMB2A aka Electro 46s from Kleenrite Supply.
I have the older Ninja too ..Its the plate the bolts will not line up. May need to make a mod to fit..
