3rd-Man jump seat for my Chevy Express Van

Ok so I just got back from the hardware store with the parts I need. I'm going to install the sliders, I just need to modify a few things. I drilled the pilot holes for the seat through the floor of my van and checked to make sure no tranny lines or wires are in the way. I would drill a hole, then place my flashlight on it and look for the light to come through from the bottom. Looks like I am going to have enough clearances to pull it off.

Now just super glue that bad boy onto the van's floor and you're golden.

@Johnny Bravo. I'm out of superglue. I used it all on my Dragon. I was forced to use bolts and nuts

Seat frame bolted in with seat belts.

Done! Came out good. I'm really happy. Slider sems to work good. Now Ivan and I can go cruise the strip and pick up women.

5 and 8. They go to a private Lutheran school, . To far to walk, about 6 miles, and there is no bus.

Back in my day we had to walk 10 miles in the snow up hill

My wife use to drive my step son to school everyday, she will probably do the same thing next year when our little boy starts school.

The 3rd seat is so flippin useful. It is so nice being able to truck my boys around. They love driving in the van with me. They like sitting up front. They're driving me nuts playing with the radio and HVAC controls.

I'm gonna have tons more room with that new spinning chem rack and narrow hose reel.

Nothing wrong with it, it does clean very well and dry times are great. Just want a new, quiet toy.
Ever eat at Racha Noodle? Is that on S Market across fron Angelo St.? Close to that "Deliverance" trailer park?

Thanks so much for this post from several
years ago! I didn’t know this jump seat product existed. I very often need to haul 2 workers with me and seating can be an issue. I was going to try to find a beanbag chair or something, but now I think I’ll install 3rd front seats in my chevy express and in my ford e250!

No more milk crates, buckets and water coolers to sit on if this works out!

Any advice on this? Does the installation ever not work out for any reason?
