2008 Chevrolet Express 3500 Carpet cleaning van with 126500 miles. Has a 2008 Hydramaster CDS 4.8 Overdrive Salsa with only 4034 hours on unit. Vehicle and carpet machine just completely serviced including all systems flushed and lubed, new tires, alignment, inspection, etc. The CDS 4.8 gives you two solution outlets for dual-wand capacity, pump out, and a one-hundred-gallon waste tank for non-stop cleaning. Van comes equipped with two hose reels, vacuum hose, high pressure solution hose, carpet wand, stair tool, upholstery tool, grooming tool, water claw, 2 sprayers, shelving. Everything is perfect working condition. I no longer own the business and need to sell the van/equipment. Asking $18000 OBO. All reasonable offers will be considered.

Miles are a little high but if maintenance kept up then value is much better. Good luck

Maintenance kept up and I just took it in to have the entire van and Hydramaster serviced. I asked them to do a service "like it's never been done before". Meaning they checked and changed and lubed everything possible on both van and machine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and ready to go to work for someone.

Factor in the 4000hrs on that engine ( more like 250k miles). I believe the CDS will outlive the van .... but change out gets costly. That setup is close to a decade old but is in a one ton so could ( van) have another 10 yrs left in it.
Price.... Jon Don website has a used 2011 1 ton extended 129k miles HM CDS 4.8 4000 hrs for 8k!

Yeah I personally would never buy a direct drive with more than 1000 hours or more than 50k miles Grant. Heck, that probably goes for slide ins too.

How many miles does 1 hour on a direct drive add to the van? I thought I heard 15 but also think others have said 12-20

When I had my PTO van engine rpm was around 1300 and underload. I was told by my mechanic that it equalled 60 kilometres ( 35 miles an hr).
4000 hrs puts 120K on engine

Additional information on van after doing a VIN search. This is a 2500 not a 3500 as my paperwork stated. It's 4.8L V8 regular length, not extended. There has been no transmission or engine problems or repair, ever. The CDS was installed brand new by Interlink Supply right after I bought the van. There is no power windows or locks.

I did not see that post. I spent hours researching what others were selling similar van/equipment for and the average was $18000. So that's what I started at. Did you see that I put OBO and all reasonable offers considered, in case my asking price was too high?
