    1st Repair Job

like everyone has said, separate the rows so you don't cut the fibers along the seam. If it's a small patch, I'll take some duct tape and make a template for the donor piece. then you should have a perfect sized piece to seam in. Make sure you don't accidentally turn the carpet. If the nap is...

    Mytee escape questions

So why didn't they just send you a new machine? Wouldn't that have been easier that having this thread go on for so long? After having a pump out burn up, a relay get fried from a leak, a pump not working right, 3 vac motors catching on fire, mytee sent me a new escape. Why didn't they do that...

    Security question?

I think it would be hard for someone to just run off with a generator. Could you bolt it to the tongue? Along with that you could use a cable to lock it to the trailer.

what do you think of the Escape™ ETM Electric Truckmount

I've only tried to plug into a range once. It had a different plug than the two boxes that came with my escape. Washroom was upstairs, so I fired up the generator.

what do you think of the Escape™ ETM Electric Truckmount

I would get the Escape over a portable any day. You will have the same issues with a portable but with the Escape you have more power and you can leave it in the van. I agree with what John said. There has been jobs that I just hook up the Escape to the hot water heater in an empty house and...

what do you think of the Escape™ ETM Electric Truckmount

No, you need a external heater like a Little Giant. Also, you might consider having a generator on board for jobs that do not have electricity accessible. If the majority of your jobs are 100 foot or less it will work fine. You can leave it in the van or a trailer. Sent from my motorola...
