Performer 405
In the past the belts were just replaced if I had to bring the machine in for a repair I wasnt able to do myself. This time however, I want to replace the blower belts myself.
Are there any special tips? Or is it pretty straight forward?
Thanks
Jason
Yeah, there are a lot of parts you can find cheaper via the internet these days. There are some crazy mark ups in price through some of these companies. A diaphragm is only $9, but who knows when I'll get it. Everyone still uses covid as an excuse.
Thanks. I did call them. They dont sell direct and because if covid, they aren't drop shipping straight to customers via their distributors. He said they have plenty of them. I did order one via Jon Don but not sure when I'll get it. They didn't have any in stock. Neither did Milacs Steamway...
Hey there,
Does anyone happen to have a vacuum break stem/spring/diaphragm kit laying around for sale? Or just a diaphragm?
Part #43-807106 is the part # in the manual. However, I googled it and zero results.
Hoping someone has one on hand they would sell.
Thanks
Jason
Forgot to follow up.
The manual temp bypass was leaking. Replaced it and the machine is at full temp by the time I get my hoses run and ready to clean.
Ok, I still have to check the tank to see if it's bypassing water through the manual valve. But I did warm it up to 215° from cold a little bit ago. This time I didn't hook water up direct from a faucet. I used my water tanks. In the 25min it ran, my water tanks only dropped roughly 2". So makes...
I did notice tonight that the temp gauge and the micro switch dial read about 10° different. The turn the dial down til it engages the selonoid and see the water pressure drop 40psi, the dial said 200°, but the gauge said 180-185°. Nit sure if that part is relevant since I at least confirmed...
I ran it for about 20 min tonight, because that's how long it took to reach about 215°. Which is the highest temp in the last few attempts.
What you saying is to get to to as hot as it'll get, back the throttle off so the vacuum will be less and then I should be able to take the lid off the...
Hey all,
New to the forum. Although I've browsed it for info for awhile now.
I have two trucks and run Performer 405's in both of them. One of the trucks is having a water temp issue. Issue being, it won't heat the water over 200°. So far I've replaced a number of parts. I'm not just throwing...
