Yes both Bonnet Pro, and Releasit have pretty good support. Heck, maybe check into the newer TRS stuff. I have their Glad pads and like them a lot.

If there is a smell , there is most likely still moisture present. needs to get completely dry , both for the smell, as well as the wicking.

are you cleaning it in place? Wood floor underneath.. ? If so, be careful, maybe put a cheap painter plastic drop cloth under.
