Mine had a throttle limiter on the throttle cable. I took it off and adjusted it to proper rpms. Can you take a pic of it ? I called legends and they couldn’t help me. They stopped making the apex and prochem was bought out.

Did you check to make sure the tach is accurate? I checked it on my snowmobile to make sure it’s accurate.
