    Devistator vs. Robs wand

He is recovering, but making a good effort at making a go of it.

    Devistator vs. Robs wand

FWIW Tony is building wands, I picked one up from his shop today.

    Dang Pro Wand

Looking for jet manifolds for my swivel wand, I usually just swing by Tony’s place and purchase directly from him, but he’s still not back to work. Talked to his sister about a week ago and she said he’s getting better just not ready to get back to work.

    Carpet Cleaning Injury Thread (Graphic)

Lost pressure on the DIESEL heated truckmount in the middle of cleaning a house. Went outside to see what was going on, opened the bleeder hose at the front of the machine, nothing. Step up into the side door to take a while the machine is running, nothing. Step back down and all of a sudden...

    Steamway vs El Diablo

I’ve owned a Avalanche for 5 years now. It was made to replace the the Steamway 4100, the smaller Truckmount made by Steamway. Great heat and suction. But the fit and finish stink!! Also when I had issues while under warranty, they would not address them. Ended up fixing it myself and on my own...

    Water Softener

Where would I find the Manuel recharge? Interlink? Pressure wash supply? Was already going to replace resin and clean out the tank and then replace salt.

    I’m Human After All!!

After I get back to work was definitely looking into getting a Bonzer or a Zipper. Any recommendations from you guys that have had bad back/neck issues on which one is better under these circumstances.

    I’m Human After All!!

So I’m one of those members that always lurks in the shadows, but I thought it was important to post this! It’s been two weeks since I’ve had cervical disc replacement surgery on two levels. Basically I had to have two of my disks replaced in my neck. The reason why am writing this is because...

    Hydroforce Issue

Had the same issues and tried to get them to fix it under the 90 day warranty and was denied. Interlink/bridgepoint wouldn't give me the time of day. Found out later they had a bad batch of blocks-still no help. Bought a rebuild kit had the interlink store look at it and after spending over $75...

Joe Polish "Marketing Multiplier" Event in SUNNY California... (THAW OUT and make more MOOLAH)

Same stuff Joe has been preaching for the last 15 years. Nothing new, good to get some ideas from other cleaners. If your not part of platinum group you feel a little like the red headed step child. At least the free lunch was good.

Customer service- How do you deal with rude or disrespectful customers?

The best way to give it to them is to kill them with kindness, clean their carpet and then take their money.

diesel kerosene ... heater what models do you know of?

Try looking at the Hydro Tek website they have a lot of different set ups. If you call them and tell them what your looking for they will make a system for you. They have always been resonably priced too.

    NEW MACHINE!

Ben did all the sales but I think it is technically going thru Steambrite. I should take delivery right before the end of the year. I plan to take the week after Xmas off and get everything set up right. When everything is up and running I plan on giving detailed feedback for everyone to hear...

    NEW MACHINE!

I will for sure get some pics up when the install is complete. The final straw was when nobody would return my calls with just simple ?'s about their machines. Some that I talked to seemed like I was bothering them. From big guys to the litttle ones. But after about 15 calls to Ben and his good...

    NEW MACHINE!

Ordered my new machine today. After all my research and countless hours talking on the phone with the different makers I ordered the new Dragon from Ben at Amtex. Can't wait to get it.

Turn the machine on and open the drain valve and get a pressure nozzle on a garden hose and shoot some water in there.

    Amtex vs. El Diablo/Steamway

The 2100 is $11,000. I know they all put out heat, I was concerned about the flow issue and long hose runs. I am not a heat maniac I usually set temp on mine now at 200. Its just am I going to miss something when I do get into a situation when I need more heat like tile cleaning or a small...

    Amtex vs. El Diablo/Steamway

Been cleaning carpets for over 20 years and pretty much only used diesel burners. Looking to buy a new mount and have been impressed with Ben at Amtex. What I need to know is will I be unhappy with a heat exchanger? I do use a rotovac and a RX-20 at times and also do tile cleaning. I also do...

    NEED A NEW WASTE TANK

Thanks for all the suggestions, but like it was mentioned in one of the other post it is a L shaped tank that bolts up to the frame. I'm in the process of removing the tank and going to take it to a welding shop, but this requires unboltin the truckmount itself. Not how I wanted to spend my day.

    NEED A NEW WASTE TANK

I an looking for a waste tank that fit onto a Steamway 2100 truckmount. The bottom is toast on mine and there are signs of cancer in other areas. They want $3300 for a new one so I thought I would look for used first.

    What is Proper Wand Technique

I personally do at least one full stroke back and forth with the trigger on, and follow that up with a nice dry stroke back and forth. If its a carpet that I will have problems with browning I will only go forward with the trigger on and then back vacuum only. And then follow that section with...
