    Injust ordered Revive it rocket,questions..

For commercial glue down CGD I'd recommend after vacuum and pre spray going straight bonnet cleaning with a 20" 175 vs hwe. I've had CGD separate from the concrete underside after using too much water it eventually settles back down but could be a major headache if it doesn't.

That would probably save your back on big jobs manual scrubbing is great exercise but it's not sustainable. Definitely look into an automatic scrubbing system on CL Etc.

Results look great I vacuum the main body of the carpet first then the edges, then pre spray very thoroughly, i don't necessarily wait 10 minutes usually go right into scrubbing the carpet as it takes a few minutes to get set, not sure what your agitating the carpet with but it's working. The...

Thanks I did that first thing after I bought it but still a little too agressive. It started removing cement from my driveway!

I figured that's what you meant. I use a 20" Tennant with the IronMan bonnets. I do have a 20" stiff polypropylene carpet brush but I don't use bc it's too aggressive for carpets and probably too though to control in someone's house. I'd consider using a colored pad like you mentioned.

So you pre spray then pre scrub with a stiff nylon carpet brush, then hwe with a manual wand then bonnet clean?

It's a lot of work when you do it right huh Scott! What do you agitate with B4 hwe, is your hwe prespray any different than your bonnet cleaning pre spray, do you pre spray again bw hwe & before bonnet cleaning, do you charge per area or SF about how much thanks and have a great today

The Rotovac would be used in HWE hot water extraction with either a TM truck mount or portable extractor that can be moved throughout the residence. The bonnet pro cleaning is an alternative method that uses the bonnet to scrub and absorb the the soil from the pre sprayed carpet. You certainly...

Just make sure you Vacuum well including the edges of every room and stairs with a crevice tool, pre spray one room @ a time very thoroughly (I always circle the room and hit all the edges first then I spray the center in similar circles or back & forth who cares) then after a few minutes I'd...

VLM on stairs, what is your favorite tool?

I'll almost guarantee they've never used it on their stairs with a bonnet. It does a good job absorbing the soil especially on the front edges after you've thoroughly scrubbed the solution with a stiff nylon brush.

    Travertine tile help please

    Is it a 17" or 20" machine? I have a 20" 175 and wondering if there's a 20" weighted pad driver available.

Is it a 35 lb pad driver? Does your 175 accept additional weights on top also?

    Travertine tile help please

I'd go with the biggest size available. The Co only sells one size in the US it's about a 13" cleaning path. You can definitely use it to agitate dirty carpets with the black standard brush that it comes with. I use it most often with the stiff blue tile & grout brush that I bought separately...

    Travertine tile help please

Did you consider upgrading the pump in your extractor or was that not an option? The water otter looks like a great tool. It must connect to the home owners water supply so it provides plain water only?

    Stripping and cleaning help

Looks like Saltillo tile with a sealant I haven't a clue why everyone wants their tile sealed when it's so easy to clean tile. Grout I understand, it's more difficult to clean so seal it. It's the sealant on the tile that's the pita when it no longer looks good and has to be removed. What a...

    Tile job browning

The rear mounted squeegee should come before not after the microfiber mop so the mop stayes cleaner longer, if that's what that is.

    Travertine tile help please

Have you used the spinner tool on tile before with the tile attachment and your portable? If you have with success I'd say that's probably your best bet with some Groutmaster or any non acidic cleaner since you're probably working with natural stone.
