Tips how to distinguish the carpet fiber by naked eye?

Tip #1 - Just guessing by eyeball is just that, an educated guess. Tip #2 - "Cornrowing" or those little "rows" you see on a carpet USUALLY indicate its Polyester or Triexta. Tip #3 - Berber style carpets are USUALLY but not always Olefin or Polypropylene. Tip #4 - Multi pattern or multi...

    Appraising Existing Company

Yeah man, I started my own company late this year and after spending $40,000 on equipment and financing the rest I didnt have much left over. If I had another $80,000 in marketing cash available I'd rather start a new company than buy an existing one. Carpet cleaning is all about referrals.

So what did you do today? Anything fun? How's your day looking? Let's give people a real perspective to this business! This morning I woke up at 7am and put a 2nd coat of wax on the truck, buffed and polished. Booked a 4th job for myself today as a same day call through Thumbtack. Now...

Clean first gently - if there's a protectant on the fabric it may come right out with minimal chems.

    Trump to step down!

Anyone who thinks Hillary, Trump or any other modern day politician tells the Truth is likely very naive. Remember when the Japanese lost the battle of Midway back in World War 2? Well, the government knew they couldn't tell the public the truth. So they told them it was a glorious victory...

    Sapphire 370 CFM at wand

Most likely the restriction on the spring load for the blower is factory set to 13 inches - maybe loosen it to 15inches. Granted this will VOID your warranty if you do it.

Client had all furniture on skidders...

No, we have a plan to grow into a 5 truck operation by year 5. $360 a month for a secure, heated shop, also with a legal place to dump is great for us. What's interesting is we've networked with our neighbors already and have had great referrals.

Clarifying statement "to be in business" not the "Cost of doing business" So just to simply have my doors open it costs around $2,500 a month currently. $1,000 van payment $360 shop payment $100 a month SEO guy $100 a month Housecall Pro $200 a month Insurance The remainder of the money is...

Client had all furniture on skidders...

Well it sort of depends Randy, it costs me about $2,500 a month to be in business (truck payment and shop payment alone is $1,500 a month) So doing $10,000 in a month isnt bad. But...I've heard more than I wanted to that we are cheaper than others.

I dont personally care anymore. Conservative or Democrat, pick your poison. I'm not interested in debating if arsenic or cyanide is a better poison.

3 months technically - bought the truck in July, opened our doors in August. Already Google Guaranteed #1 with 39 reviews Also #1 on Yelp for our area (no money spent) and our SEO guy has us #3 on Google Organic search for several search terms. Can't complain at all.

Damn I spent 4 hours on a job and moved all the furniture back and forth, heavy pet urine, about 6 rooms total for $400. Guess I'm cheap
