    New Mytee Tank

I doubt you’ll collapse the tank. Previously it was tested with a 45 blower with out a relief valve at 24” hg and after 20 minutes they turn the blower off for rear it would damage the blower. Some guys pump from their small Tm tank to these using as holding tanks.

Comparing these tanks to a $30.00 tank is not even close to a fair comparison. You can’t buy the mounting breakers that come with the Mytee tanks for $30.00. Like comparing apples and oranges. These can be holding tanks or vacuum tanks. They are that strong.

New LX vac motor conversion kit

Yes 7.2 and 8.4 are the same bolt pattern. Go to the LX motors. Change your plumbing to air series. You won’t believe the performance you will get.

New LX vac motor conversion kit

That may be your preference but it depends on the motors. LX are best in series and can go to 200’. Maybe a little more.

New LX vac motor conversion kit

Give it a rest Ed. 8.4 are too big (as I would think you know) to be a good choice for a booster or a porty. The 6.6 LX motors are perfect the way they are.

    Ninja Classic Upgrades

I agree. And you’re pleased with your results. That’s good. Water lift sealed at the machine we have found does not necessarily translate to lift at the carpet that’s why I asked. Thanks for the information.

I think the two stage is restricting airflow.

    Ninja Classic Upgrades

Very good information. Do you feel that the standard 6.6 two stage is restricting the cfm of the LX motor?

    Ninja Classic Upgrades

Jim have you measured your water lift and cfm with that set up?

    Ninja Classic Upgrades

More water lift and CFM with the LX vacs than doing it with 4 two stage vac.

I love the Mytee lite 8070 - i want to change vac motor.

The 8070 Mytee Lite was designed primarily for mobile auto retailers and for spotting of carpet. It does not lend itself to add or exchange to larger vac motors. I would look for a machine designed with the LX motors already in it. Much easier and less expensive in the long run.

I Have the new Mytee portable, I’m having shut off issues ( foam )

What model extract do you have? GFI will not work as they are limited to 15 amps. You should use 20 amp dedicated circuits.

Let's talk about Aerotech Carpet Cleaning Truckmounts

I guess everyone has their preferred method of cleaning. Pleasing the customer is the main thing as most methods do a good job. Most units now a days have plenty of vacuum power including many portables and handle high flow quite well. Extreme heat is expensive and can be dangerous. How hot is...
