    Carpet wrinkling?

I have noticed if I float a carpet a long time it will need a restretch and if a dehu and top dry is possible is usually will just need a bump or two with the kicker after the drying process is complete.

Hahaa, I try to let the power stretcher do most of the work. But my knees are still kicking. :shame:

Out of the cleaning business, still doing repairs...

I agree, I wish I could stretch and do inserts 5 days a week. Repairs only will keep half of my schedule full and I will transition into another endeavor easier on my back and patience. :) Tile, carpet, thresholds, etc.

I actually had gotten great use out of it, very reliably. Need a new float in the hot box, I had to brace the c-coupling because the factory ones are just rubber. Aside from that she has ran and started perfectly for a long time now. She is kind of loud compare to my old Legend SE, but she is...

Very mixed indeed, was running as a contractor and a normal O/O... just a headache. Easier to maintain and pay for one vehicle and only go out for repair jobs.

Out of the cleaning business, still doing repairs...

I know gas is low and the season is heating up, especially here in Dallas, I have decided to sell my van and operate from a personal vehicle and only do repairs. While I can only be so busy doing that, I have hit a wall in cleaning and just don't want to be an O/O out there by myself or with a...

    Help..Blood on wool... Any suggestions?

Doesn't stain magic on relatively fresh blood seem like overkill before normal cleaning with spotting hasn't worked? You may better than I would, I don't recall ever seeing significant blood on white wool. Sent from my SGH-M919 using TMF Forums mobile app

    Help..Blood on wool... Any suggestions?

Obviously a lower pH wool specific product is optimal, just what I would do. Scott Warrington will tell you to use the Bridgepoint wool products. He would be right. Sent from my SGH-M919 using TMF Forums mobile app

    Help..Blood on wool... Any suggestions?

I am not a big "blood guy" but say it is surface level. Vac, molecular modifier sprayed and groomed in, biobreak, agitate, hwe. Microban area. Groom. Sent from my SGH-M919 using TMF Forums mobile app

Do you find carpet cleaning to be easy?

For all of you former roofers, oil rig workers, delta force guys, and stone masons... yeah it is easy. For all of you with experience doing very little for a whole lot... of course it isn't easy. Cleaning the carpet is easy, being an O/O is not. Sent from my SGH-M919 using TMF...

    Why clean

The great Doyle Brunson once said, "when a man with money meets a man with experience... the man with money leaves with an experience and the man with the experience leaves with the money." Or you can get lucky. ;) Sent from my SGH-M919 using TMF Forums mobile app

    First ever carpet patch

Good cuts Jose the patch looks pretty damn good. The seaming iron will work but a regular iron has settings for fabric which can basically match the carpet type. Too much heat can melt/deform the fibers very quickly. You clearly have experienced that. :) Once you get working the seaming iron...

    Tilemaster

While what Todd said is true, alkaline is a relative term here. If Tilemaster is a 14pH it is 10,000 times more alkaline than a 10pH light residential prespray. Also the other concentrated ingredients not very good for the grass. If it was mixed outside and dry tm powder got on the grass and...

I would guess that companies and products are assuming different dilution ratios, like power burst is assuming a 3-1. Which is kind of weird for me, but hey most of these manufacturers, chemists and people who made the label prob haven't cleaned carpet in a while. :) Sent from my SGH-M919...
