Very Odd Problem on a call back

I had thought that too. Did the water heater leak over the weekend and they just didn't want to pay to extract it? Concrete in the heater room is dry though, and the pattern of where the water is is odd as well... I've dealt with floods before but its almost as if the water is coming up from the...

Very Odd Problem on a call back

They have a water heater in the room next to the hallway, and the bathroom that they are remodeling, but I saw no indications that either of them had a leak issue. (no stains or immediate water marks on the concrete). I'm leaning towards a foundation leak personally.

Very Odd Problem on a call back

That's what I thought Todd? I mean... I'm not the brightest light bulb in the shed but it would have taken me leaving these carpets SOPPING wet... JUST in that hallway... to have the carpets be spotting wet a week later.

Very Odd Problem on a call back

Okay so I cleaned for a customer of ours a week ago, and ended up getting a call back yesterday because one of the hallways were "soaked" in the basement. Upon arrival, Sure enough one of the back hallways in the basement was damp... to the point that there were a quite a few visably wet spots...

New to Stone Polishing - questions

Hey everyone! So We are going to be expanding into stone polishing and I have a couple of customers that are going to let me do some "practice work" on their flooring and countertops. I have been looking at some of the posts here and doing some research, and I think I've got the "gist" of it...

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

It went back down I guess... needs to be stretched though. Finishing it up next week with my carpet repair guy. (I REALLY need to get that half of the business under my belt)

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

What the hell? Is that actual hardwood flooring covered by particle board UNDER the carpet?

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

That's what my repair guy was worried about. Will it return to normal or are we all f'd? Should I start checking the subflooring every time I do a urine flood?

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

[emoji23] I checked. Elbow deep and nothing but a little bit of wet pad. I couldn't tell if the subflooring was bulging or not. My carpet repair guy is our next step in figuring this out (really need to learn how to do that stuff myself. The clients dad seems to think that the subflooring is...

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

But why would it buckle like that? From the flood extraction? It does look like it's new carpet from when my clients moved it. Would a simple stretch fix it?

Slightly Freaking out. Bubbles in carpet that is NOT CGD

Okay so Saturday I did a flood extraction for some urine stains for a client. Left one of my Studebakers as a courtesy over the weekend to get thier carpets dry quick. Went to pick it up today, and found out she has several bubbles in the carpet. They've been "growing" (progressively getting...

    Boss Ultra?

It makes me more mad for everyone else to be honest... I took a chance on them even though the forums say they suck... but again it was a little job, and I'm all about second chances... so just maybe this Ralph guy could turn them around... but Allied is spot on with everything he's said...

    Boss Ultra?

I haven't gotten paid either. Little small job but whatever. I keep sending letters and now attaching late fees... eventually I'll get my money... plus a ton of interest :-D

Beware!! Any of you doing hardwood or cleaning rugs in customers homes

This thread popped back up with perfect timing. I have a custy that is requesting a cleaning on hardwood after using mop n glo. Since I'm not sure if he has true hardwood or laminate, I'll have to be super careful. I've been doing hardwood and haven't had any issues, however my process is very...

    Rotovac 360i tile brush head

Just to point out two things on this thread... the pictures you gave were for two different heads. The blue brush head (top) is for tile, not carpet... the black brush head on the bottom is for carpet... That one is the real deal, though I do not recommend using it to prescrub. It clogs the jets...

Low Vacuum - No Clue what's going on

Hey Everyone! I would have put this under a specific Truckmount system but mine is a custom unit so it's a bit of a mess. :( Roots URAI 68 blower with dual "smokestack" silencers. Today, I fired it up and found that I was running WAY low vacuum. Checked the filters, and now I'm on to tearing the...

    CRB, bonzer or rotary???

Currently I'm in the Bridgepoint Fan Club. 45 min drive from home if I run out of anything, and interlink has been awesome to use over the last year. But I am likely branching out more... see my post I rinses and presprays.

    Rinses and Presprays

But how is the grout turning out? I see these types of videos all the time and it never makes sense to me. My tile hardly ever is that black and dingy after prespraying... sometimes I have to scrub, but typically I actually work backwards... I'll spot clean after I've seen how the tile looks as...

    Rinses and Presprays

And I'm confused... your doing all of that for tile? I prespray, rinse, and wait for it to dry to see if there's any spots that I need to touch up. Fans on tile? I digress. Lol now I'm highjacking my own damn post. Thanks Anderson! [emoji13] [emoji12]

    Rinses and Presprays

I'm not sure if there was sarcasm there Anderson lol. Tile is way different, and you use CRBs. You don't count [emoji13] [emoji12] [emoji13] [emoji12]. Totally joking
