Completely agree hard to beat those prices. Riccar is about $600 and up but what I love about them is they use 2 vac motors

    Anyone use the workhorse vacuum?

Basically same exact design as Dyson. They were sued and lost which basically ended production. Good vacuum but there are a few other brands with a lot better performance. If you’re looking for a great American made Vacuum look up Riccar. You can find a lot of comparison videos of the Riccar...

    Quality commercial contracts

I was always taught not to be afraid to walk away from a job and to respect the quality of my work by not negotiating my price. I find it difficult to raise the price on a customer once they know you as a bargain guy. A lot of times that customer will just move on to the next bargain cleaner. A...

    Grout turned white

I’ve noticed if GM is mixed with too hot of water it’ll haze a little white. I would just go over it again with GM just don’t mix as hot and rinse really well

Blown head gasket fixed by Jon Don??

I agree with Todd. More then likely a cracked head. You also have to be careful when heads are machined if they went too low and cut to deep into the water jackets that can cause premature failure of the head gasket. Only way to fix that is new heads

MDF Fiber Board, How to ID & Protect?

    Mytee Bently Wand??

Agreed. But if you’re limited on equipment, a good sheer kit can take a mediocre wand to the next level

    Mytee Bently Wand??

I do agree with Fredi about most people never really utilizing their sheer adjustment but the rotaries being relatively cheap to own now there’s almost no need adjust the sheer it’s easier to switch to a rotary when needed

    Mytee Bently Wand??

Sheer has really nothing to do with how close the jets are to the vacuum but the angle in which the water penetrates into the carpet. Low sheer creates deeper penetration while high sheer creates a lower penetration. Helps on dirty carpets to get a deeper clean and better dry times a carpet...

    BEST WAND FOR PORTABLES

The evolution wand is still one the lightest out there. If they find it tiring they probably won’t like most other wands

    Hydramaster blower repairs?

Tuthill can rebuild it for you for about half of the cost of a new blower you just gotta ship it to them. If I remember right I believe it was about $1500 for a rebuild
