I should have saved this for Halloween but...
I am and always have been a believer in ghosts and super natural phenomenon. As most of us with years in the industry we have all been in some strange a creepy homes and situations.
I have been in many homes and heard voices that weren't there. I know a lot of this is "white noise" from the wand and that will bring out unexplained sounds. Homes where you just get a creepy feeling like you are being watched.
Anyone have any good stories from scary houses?
One time my assistant and I were cleaning a sofa and love seat in a customer's home. The customer wasn't there. As we were cleaning the side door into the home (not the door we had hoses through) opened up all the way. I didn't see anyone come in but thought that the customer must have made it home and walked into the kitchen. A few seconds later the door slammed shut. I asked my assistant if he saw the customer? His eyes were very wide open as he said "no one came in or out of that door. It just opened and shut by itself."
One time I was cleaning carpet and asked my assistant to flip on the light for me. It came on. I said "thank you". He said "I didn't turn it on." I looked around for the light switch and it was actually 3 feet behind me. No one else was in the home.
