Hi Ross, I love my RX and my RV they are both very good machines and I don't regret buying either of them. I normally use my wand with a glide for carpet cleaning and just use the other two when it is very necessary. If you have back problems or need space I would say get the RV because it is much lighter and it does basically the same thing as the RX. The only difference I have seen is that the RX has more agitating power because it is heavier but that is just my opinion.
