Sounds like a low or high pressure switch to me. Make sure you have water in the water box, unplug them both and plug the connectors on the machine harness into each other. If the machine stays running when you do this, it will be a high or low pressure switch (most likely low pressure).

Sounds like the thermal relief valve is stuck open. Do you have the new style thermal relief valve? This can be checked by looking at the back of the thermal well and seeing if the thermal relief valve has 1 hose coming off of it, or if it has 2 hoses coming off of it.
