Tell me the difference between "guerilla marketing" and regular marketing in this business? Seems to me that there's plenty of vets on here using eddm, Facebook ads and signs.
This morning would be a good example of how easy it is to pick up jobs just by getting out there and talking to people.
I dropped off another round of eddm to the post office and had nothing scheduled for today. I started hitting businesses, asking for managers and passing out cards. After...
Don't expect eddm to be enough to start unless you can make a bomb mailer. Even then, you have to back it up with other forms of advertising. Ive done well with it because I think asymmetricly. Most of these mailers you see are junk. They look like junk mail and get treated as such. Crammed with...
You don't need to spend that much on eddm starting out. Just pick a route or 2 of about 600-900 homes and back up the eddm with signs and a little facebook advertising. Concentrate on that one area for your residential jobs to start and walk into businesses for Comercial prospects. As long as...
I 100% agree. All the work in the world is there, you just have to take it. I think a lot of these guys are scared to go knock on a door or go ask for a manager.
Ditch the adwords, too expensive with not much roi. Make sure your eddm and facebook ads are hitting the same area, combine that with some lawn signs and bandit signs on poles. Those 3 advertising mediums should lock down your target area.

Approaching businesses is fun and easy. Just pick the ones that you would like to clean and charge right in with some promo materials. "Please keep me in mind for all your floor care needs". It's really that easy and you'll be surprised how many will book right on the spot.
