What is this? (picture) Plus a few other T&G cleaning q's

That is absolutely not color sealer. It looks like an old clear sealer that is still adhered to the grout. A water based stripper would help you to emulsify that product. Zep makes a stripper that can easily be found at Home Depot or Lowes as something you can easily find (tho not my first...

ASO Leper spots on grout lines

This was a stripping job and not a cleaning job.

    2790

I feel inclined to post these only because of Rob's (shameless) self aggrandizing posts in regards to his own products (it IS his own forum, so it's his own disgusting prerogative I suppose). These were all done with a competing product that is supposedly not to be used inside unless you plan...

Also, it's track record, not "tract record".....

    2790

Does this snippet photo make you feel in someway superior to this man? More childish behavior. Completely unnecessary.

Current job right now, at about 5 oz to a gallon. Sprayed inside. Cold water at 1200 psi. Nobody dead, no fumes, no harm to glass or stainless.

Is it just me or does that not say one thing about interior or exterior use?

Seeing Rob's response makes me never care to try Groutmaster. Show some class. I would be willing to wage that the majority of this industries' heavy hitters don't even read these online forums. This is why I will continue to have a low post count.

Yes. I would say 5-8 oz per gallon (I'm a seasoned glugger...). TBH, we polish the majority of natural stone floors we do, so if we were to dull a stone via cleaning, its not that important to us.

I also use 2790 daily. Haven't had a single issue with stainless or wood. Can't compare it to anything else as I have been using it for a couple years with no need to switch. Just tapped my 3rd barrel of it yesterday as a matter of fact. Cold or warm, all seems to work the same to me.

Stone Guys - How do you sell your services?

I also have never had realtors that just bring it home for me. Realtors are small potatoes as far as Im concerned. We do quite a bit of work from builders that are ultimately referred from tile stores.

where to buy a good spray tank for 175

If you are looking for a one pass type of cleaning with your 175...I think you should be prespraying. However, you can showerfeed and prescrub, and then follow up with bonnet cleaning and provide something a little more superior, and not have to bring in a separate sprayer. I encap almost all...

where to buy a good spray tank for 175

I get wanting to be able to spray, but man that rotary sure looks like a bunch of work just to have that ability. I took the sprayborg off of my Orbot because I was tired of the jet clogging up with encap product (my fault for not rinsing after), and the weight. Shower feed just works so...

    Sapphire Scientific filter-Pretty bad azz!

I won this filter in an Interlink Supply raffle many years ago (Yeah!). I love the filter, but really only use it when I plan on needing a vac splitter for bigger upholstery work. Its a great splitter....and filter! I actually saw one once that also had a pressure line plug in that split the...

How to get acid off stainless steel appliances?

Ive used Barkeepers friend many times in the past. Make it into a paste with water, apply, and work it into according to the grain. Finish up with a stainless steel cleaner/polish like Sheila Shine afterwards to make it even. I have also been able to remove some horrendous looking marks with it.
