Nick

I do .. But now that I'm super busy I don't want to :-)
I will if I'm slow other wise I'm looking for some one to give the work to ?

We used to, then we realized we were spending half a day to do an $80 job. We no longer offer window cleaning![]()

I should have started a poll here hah![]()

I think Richard pretty much summed it up. Save the poll for another thread and give your squeegee to a homeless guy.

We offer window cleaning and do a fair amount of it.
It's not difficult work, low cost of tools and supplies.
And $60-$70/hr is not too bad.
Matthew

Yeah I know Lance Golden speaks highly about offering window cleaning services in AZ too, heard there is a lot of profit in it if your doing it right and charging the correct amount.

I would have to say approximatly 40% of my revenue is window cleaning. Averaging $75- $100 per hour... and if I am waterfed pole window cleaning, I do a little better. I dont know Strat whatever your name is... I think I will keep my squeegee...![]()

You go, boy!![]()

I offer it, and I've also subbed it out. I'm getting ready to invest in a waterfed pole and DI Tank (low TDS here). Cleaning Ins/Outs takes way too long. I'm hoping the investment will speed the process. I also plan to offer a carpet cleaning/exterior window and screen cleaning package.
I'll take any advice anyone wants to give me. I'm finally getting good at the "swirl" method. As with carpet cleaning, your solution and equipment seem important to the end result.

I thought about it after talking to Tom Wilson about it. I didn't move forward because I don't have a ladder rack and at some heights on soft ground I really want someone to hold my ladder, so it seems like a two-person job. Do you guys do it alone or in teams?

Dan, I am a 1 man show.... I use folding type ladders, (little giant types) They also have a better weight rating...no ladder racks here. And as I said before I use a waterfed pole system when and where it is an option. I have been cleaning windows over 20 years... call anytime if I can answer any questions in more detail

I may take you up on that, Lance. The more services I can offer the sooner I can just work my database.

Jeff Parks is coming down to show us more about window cleaning, he has some major accounts and I am almost finished with their website, check it out: www.windowcleaningmd.com

That's a good-looking website. How did you make your Wordpress pages look like the rest of the pages? I've got one attached to my site that doesn't look like it at all.Jeff Parks is coming down to show us more about window cleaning, he has some major accounts and I am almost finished with their website, check it out: www.windowcleaningmd.com

I am working on implementing window cleaning into my added services. Be nice to know who does window cleaning.

I'm a window washer looking to get into the carpet cleaning business. I'm wanting to start my own business but I don't want to include window washing for the fact that it can be very time consuming. Some of the small houses can take the longest because they may have P.O.S storm windows. We do make good income, jobs are anywhere from $150 our min up to $2800. We do a retirement home that takes 3 guys about 3 days to finish just doing the exterior, on that job I do about a day and a half of 32' ladder work. We do residential and maybe a hand full of commercial. We also do gutter cleaning and power washing.
