Somebody offer another services other than carpet cleaning, what kind , and what is the result related to residential customers and commercial customers. As a contractor of janitorial for 8 years , dealing just with Restaurants, that means the toughest service in this area, I can say that I have develop such great experience cleaning. Do You think I should offer same of this services for residential customers as well ? ( Window cleaning is the main idea ).

We also have a housekeeping/maid service side of our cleaning business. Considering getting into commercial carpets, as well as windows and eventually duct cleaning. I used my truck mount to do dryer vent cleaning. An easy $99 to $169, 30 minutes of work tops. Have a kit to clean out the vent, keep a couple of replacement parts on my truck. Put the vacuum in the dryer vent outside and use the brush. Most times I dont have to clean out my collection bag, some times I do. People love it.

I was once told instead of looking for new customers ..try 2 clean as much as you can with EVERY customer you have.. I recently noticed almost ever carpet job i go on they have cleaning company , So i added cleaning and janitorial to my company.I let my wife handle most of the home cleaning but we get ALOT of move out's and forclosed homes ..alot of xtra cash was passing me up ..So i had 2 start grabbing it!!

The use of proper window cleaning tools results in a better clean than home methods such as rubbing windows with newspaper or a wet rag. Rubbing a pane of glass with a cloth can result in "stroke" marks that are visible in sunlight due to the scraps left behind. Window cleaning can be very profitable. It has very low overhead and is good $$ per hour work. For residential work, you will need to target the upper-middle and upper class customers. In my experience, most middle-class and working class people will not shell out $$ for window cleaning. You need to target the expensive neighborhoods in your area and know who your potential customers will be. Residential cleaning is different than commercial cleaning in that you need to have a more "polished" image. Business to business is more cut-and-dry: prices based on square footage and other variables. Residential work is usually packaged more. Consumers like packaging for some reason. Even at the car wash they have the platinum package, the gold package, the silver package etc. I prefer commercial work myself, but there is more money per hour for residential.
