    Best resi-encap combo

What do you think is the best resi-encap machine and chemical combination on the market. I'm going to add a complete system to my box truck. I already have a Cimex for CGD, but want something exclusively for resi-encap. So if money was no option, what would you get??

OK, I am a seller, but with that being said, here is what we do and why.

We normally use the Commercial Breeze to clean with, best weight and speed, the orbot is a handy and nice machine, but it is stll SLOW.

We use PadCapPro because of its cleaning ability and heavy polymer makeup.

We clean with Gladiator pads, they move the easiest, hold the most and last the longest.

We don't even tell our customer we are encapping, because they see us do what we have always done, clean with pads, make thier carpets look fabulous and collect the check, they don't notice until they find thier carpets are staying clean longer that we even did anything different.

    Welcome Padman

Good to have you here. Your knowledge will be a great resource. I know from other boards that you share your experience readily.

I bought a used Challenger from eBay and I have bought Gladiator pads and juice from CCsop. --Great dealing with your wife by the way-Rick---

I like Paddman's juice and i like the Vacaway juice and Steve's Spot and Boost is very good. I just ran out so I will be trying Paddmans Super Spotter now.

The Gladiator pads are the real Deal, I have used Cottons and pollys and the Glads are my favorite.

I have heard that the machines that keep their wheels on the carpet are not as hard on pads---Paddman you are the expert here--- help me out..

If you are after the coolest Op on the market the Orbot is cool but if you let your results speak for you I would be going with Paddman. I also know from other boards that Padmand stands behind his stuff. I have been trying to find one of his machines used---They are totally unavailable---That says something too..

I don't actively clean everyday now. I have this desk job. But I have loved using the BRush Pro LM on my own carpets at home and for some friends. Works great with Encapuclean Green Double Strength.

Talking about a machine just for residential:

I have talked to tons of cleaners that say the CRB machine are the best for Encap on Residential carpets! Forget the sprayer because you need the dwell time for the chemicals to soak down in that fluffy pile! Also if you clean to fast Mrs. Jones feels like she didn't get her money's worth! To add to that it is a great tool for pre scrub when you HWE!

The pad machine are great also but they will not pull all the dirt and hair out of the carpet with the same intensity! Plus once it dries a little you can go over top of it with this machine to fluff it up and make it pretty. I do this at my home about every two months. You already have a Mex so you don't need another bonnet type machine, why not add different tools to the mix rather than the same thing but just a little different! Plus if you have a job where they are worried about warranties now you have a machine other than your truck mount that the carpet mills approve of!

I really like the Windsor icapsol mini CRB machine.,,,,,,makes some of the other well known CRB machines look like toys.

I've also been using "Bone-Dry" encap chem.

    Re: Best resi-encap combo

I have been using Releasit's Hydrox with great results using a HOST CRB machine combined with a small amount of the HOST Dry carpet cleaning compound. You can use the machine to prevac and extract deeply embedded loose dry soil and pet hair then turn the vac off and use the brushes to agitate the encap product and HOST cleaner. The Hydrox has been my favorite and seems to be the most versatile encap cleaner that I have tried so far.
