    Cimex after Host?

A local carpet outlet rents and does a good sales pitch for the Host system. A number of commercial/institutional organizations around here have been using the Host system (renting the) machines and doing it themselves. For instance, the 4 Schools in this town all use it and to my knowledge have never HWE. There has to be a ton of the sponges mashed into the carpet and I know if I HWE the carpet it will look as though it snowed overnight. I'm curious, if I Cimex the carpet will the ground-in host sponges also wick up?

If they will pay me take over carpet cleaning, I will eventually HWE the host out. Realistically, the HWE will be a work in process and meanwhile they will want all carpets cleaned in some manner.

Rob you're saying you HWE and then Cimex? Why? What chems are you using for the Cimex climax?

    kenny,

I would suggest doing a HWE to remove the HOST. I was working with a guy who used Host every month for five years. He bought a Cimex and used Encap to clean the first time. He said all the Host came to the surface like a crust, he vacuumed and it took care of it. He also said that he can still see a little Host come up to the surface every time he cleans but it is gone after he vacuums!
