We are looking at a large office with lots of cubicles. I think the Cimex may be a bit awkward. Has anyone used this machine?

You will find the Procaps machine, the older Brush Pro 20, the Whittaker machines and others to have many similarieites. They are manufactured by the same company to specifications provided by each different brand.
While they all are capable of doing a fine job, they all have hadtheir share of problems and then some.
See if a distributor will let you demo one before you decide. If you can wait a few weeks, watch for a new improved version of Brush Pro out around the end of this month.

Scot,
Would you have an equipment suggestion for tight spots the Cimex just wouldn't work in but could still pull some good production times in larger areas? Or should I be patient and wait (you know cc'rs are not patient).

A 17" to 20" rotary floor machine (swing machine) can do a decent job and cover a lot of area. If you have operated one before, you can easily work in tight areas and work fast. If you have not used one before, it will take some practice.
A lot of those machines in pawn shops or janitors closets sitting unused. You may be able to find a good deal on a used machine that will get you through a few months and have a multi-purpose machine in your arsenal.
BTW- If you do decide on the Cimex, give your Interlink dealer a chance to sell you one. Most do carry them.

You would be surprised at how easy the cimex is to mauver into tight spots. can get up to edges without banging into baseboards etc.

Get them to sign on the line which is dotted!

I played with the Prochem machine a few weeks ago at interlink and I was surprised at the job it did. I wouldn't use it as a main cleaning but for interim cleanings I believe it would work well.

I use the Cimex in small areas as well normally easy to use. For the smaller jobs or very tight, I use an Oreck Orbiter XL550 use with a bonnet or pads, does a great job. Too small for large jobs though.
There is also the multi spin dual brush, it works great as well. For light interim cleaning it is fast and affordable.

This tool amazed me at Crown last week.
I think it would be a killer little prescrub device for rat nasties.
Easy to navigate. Has a little horn to blow (not really) and is light enough it can be carried up a step or two.

I have the Prochem and has some quirks. Don't get the one with the tank/sprayer it is a total pos. Plastic spray tip that clogs constanly. Noisy and fairly light weight so if you are going to hand it to a crew expect repairs. Mine is about 2 years old lightly used by myself and I would expect maybe another couple of years of service from it. Service/support from Prochem has been marginal.

It is a good idea to have a CRB machine and a Cimex. They are both great machines.
