    Question for Cimex users

The 19" Cimex I just bought used came with 3 sets of nylon brushes and a set of pads (sort of look like sponges). I have used the brushes with Hot Knife and loved it. I have some questions that I hope you can help with. I asked the sellers but they barely used the machine and didn't know much about it at all.

Do I need some kind of pad drivers to use the pads and when would they be better suited than the nylon brushes?

I have a big 34,000 sqft commercial glue down coming up. From the Cimex website, it looks like I could use the nylon brushes. Or would you recommend I buy something else for the bottom of the Cimex?

I've cleaned 3 carpets with the Cimex and they turned out great. After the carpet dried, I vacummed with a good vacuum but couldn't really see a difference and didn't pick up much of anything in the vac bag. Is this normal?

Thanks for any help you can give.

The Nylon brushes are less agressive for like area rugs,You should have 3 small pad drivers as well. You put those beige pads on and tap the trigger untill you get foam, a light foam. Walk down the hall wet pass and the go back on one dri pass. Scrubb and go.The Maintance crew will vac ,dont even say anything about them post vacumming. Once you scrubb it will look incredible. If you have a stuburn spot stop on it a maybe change the direction from the key device above the tank.
IF YOU ARE SPITTING FOAM OUT WAY TOOO MUCH SOLUTION . You want a light white foam that dissapears in few seconds.

Pads are way better than the brushes. we never use the brushes for anything.

Today's job was a 6 story apartment building used less than 15 gallons of water.

Tomorrow we have a 12 floor building to KO.

The best chemical we used so far out of testing 12 chems....was/is Releasit DS
