Question Bonnet Pro Vs Cimex !

    Bonnet Pro Vs Cimex

    Your thoughts?

Seems like the Bonnet Pro cleans twice the area, would be awesome for our huge commercial jobs.

What about their products? Has anyone done a comparison between CarpetMax vs Excellent Supplies Encapsulation chemicals?

I don't see it as one versus the other at all. Bonnet is one of the possible methods to apply an encapsulation cleaner.

Anyone who use bonnet cleaning should have at least one encpasulation product on his van.

The Carpet Max from Bonnet pro is an amazing machine to say the least, but
its only restriction is its size, but it does manuver very well. Both products are good and I have some from both, John's business in about an hour south of me. I don't yhink you would go wrong with either (imo)

Carpet Max looks heavy, those batteries must weigh quite a bit.

I don't know about the machine. It looks pretty big to
me and I think you could only use it on large commerical
accounts. If you have taht kind of accounts you should be
done in a breeze. I used their Surrond ultra and it works
very good. It's pretty close to hot knife from vacaway.
when I spoke with John he was very helpful about his
    chemicals.

Re: Bonnet Pro Vs Cimex !

We have several Cimex's and 2 bonnet pro's. There is a use for each. If your simply picking a Cimex because you like the Cimex, then I must deduce that you don't do large commercial jobs. There is no comparison to the Bonnet Pro in that class.

The first time you do a large Ballroom, or 400ft hallways with the Bonnet Pro, you will forget you even have a Cimex! We have an account that we do twice a year and is around 50 thousand SQFT. Using the Bonnet Pro I can be home for a late lunch! You can't do that with a Cimex unless you use several at a time.

It's actually fun to work with it. I especially like our "Rider" from Bonnet Pro. There's nothing like sitting down and watching the SQFT. pass underneath your machine! The only down side with the rider is we can only do about 12-14K an hr. with it.

Yea, the Bonnet Pro is not cheap, but if you have the work, in my opinion you can't afford to not own one.

And with multiple Cimex machines I can run multiple crews bringing them together twice a year to do the 50,000. I hate having a big chunk of change sitting idle.

"And with multiple Cimex machines I can run multiple crews bringing them together twice a year to do the 50,000. I hate having a big chunk of change sitting idle".

That's why I said" if you have the work". Your right, it wouldn't be worth it for 100KSQFT job, obviously we do more then that, I was just trying to give an example.

I will say though, if the machine cost around 12K or so, you really don't have to do that much to make it up. Paying several crews and buying several Cimex's might not be worth it. Don't forget the Bonnet Pro can replace a lot of manpower and machines.

Just because it works for us doesn't mean it will for everybody.

Re: Bonnet Pro Vs Cimex !

I understand. Most of the places I'm doing a Bonnet Pro would work about 20 minutes and sit the rest of the time while the OP's were knocking out the micro-cube farms. I think some of these people think having more than one 3ft wide path in an area is immoral.

Re: Bonnet Pro Vs Cimex !

Each has its pros and cons, my thought how many areas will the bonnet pro would no be to profitable think cimex over the long run will make more money unless you have 40k plus large commercial account regularly.
