    Carpet Tiles

I want to clean an account that has carpet tiles. I know soem of the tiles were not glued down right. So far, it hasn't been a problem for the owners on this 1 year old facility. They just push them down with their foot and they stay down for a bit. However, I am worried about applying a 175 rpm machine with bonnets for an encapsulation process, or even a CRB or a cimex, especially because I am sure there are many other tiles whose corners have not been glued but are still just laying in place.

I was told by a cimex distributor that the cimex machines do a good job on this sort of situation. But, is it a situation I should be concerned with in particular for any application process? I would imaging that before cleaning an area, an inspection would have to be made to push down any ripples or edges. I never installed carpet, but - should I carry a glue or some material to glue down any tiles that do get lifted?

    Re: Carpet Tiles

I have carpet Tiles in my garage and they are not glued down.
I have never had any problem cleaning them using a 175 to encap or using HWE with a glide/slide on the wand.

hmmm loose carpet tiles can be " fun "

If your going to clean it via bonnet method, you are going to NEED a glider !!!

They go in the center of the pad between the carpet and the pad...obviously lol

    Re: Carpet Tiles

I have installed carpet tiles before. They use a pressure sensitive glue that is made to release pretty easy. I don't think you would have any problems with the 175, I would be careful with hwe if you decide to go that route though.
