what is the difference between pad capping and end capping?

Pad capping is using an encapsulation product applied to a synthetic fiber pad or sometimes a cotton or microfiber bonnet driven by a 175 RPM rotary floor machine.
The implication when some refer to pad capping is often a quick scrub and run cleaning job for a budget price. But that does not have to be the case.
(End cap is a display at the end of an aisle in a grocery or department store) Encapping is a broader term for any of several systems of deliver encapsulation cleaning. This would include the pad capping, using bonnets and a rotary machine, use of a Cimex or a counter-rotating brush machine to work in the encapsulation solution.
When you are ready to try encapsulation cleaning, be sure to try some Encapuclean Green DS.

Encapping involves little to no soil removal other than the post vacuum. Padcapping removes soil as you go leaving less soil for the encap solution to remove - it makes encap even more effective.
Depending on which OP machine is used, straight encapping can go either much faster or about the same.
