CRB and ROTARY 175: combo cleaning?

Hi, i use Host CRB,sponges & Releasit to clean. But I have a used 175 that was thinking about using sometimes. I've never used it to clean carpet. 1)I wanna know if anyone has used along with a CRB to encap & 2)What are the best pads to use for resi/comm for encapping? The 175 is just sitting in the garage I figure i could get some good use out it...thanks!

Re: CRB and ROTARY 175: combo cleaning?

My opinion is that using both a CRB and a 175 is over-kill. Use one or the other. I prefer the CRB in most cases.

I won't suggest the best pads to use, but since you are already buying your encap from Rick, he has a lot of experience and would be glad to suggest pads if you go that route.

To bad you did not ask for advice on an encap soultion. I would have jumped right on that one.

If it doesn't have it, buy a tank for that rotary! As for pads, white or beige work if you don't want to buy the fiber plus from Rick.

Someone on E-bay has a 4 gal tank shipped for $65. Mine arrived yesterday, it's solid with all the hardware. Now, I just need a job to test it.

Re: CRB and ROTARY 175: combo cleaning?

just wondering.....would it be better to agitate encap with CRB,then bonnet with 175, then vacuum....Or bonnet with 175, then using CRB to bring soil to surface, then vacuum? Anybody tried this if so what kind of results?
